When you sign for a Car Hire at Gerona, ask if you can drop the car in another place other than the place of origin. Especially when your intention is  only for one way purpose. There are some car companies that allow the renter to drop the rented car in another designated places.But this things should be cleared because some car companies do not allow, if you pick up the car at the airport, then you must return it at the same place.
